The Medical Informatics and Telemedicine (MI & T) program participates in multiple clinical information system initiatives that impact the quality and timeliness of care for patients seen in the State public hospital system, the LSUHSC Juvenile Justice Program and community clinics serving the under/uninsured in the New Orleans metropolitan area. The program supports spoke and hub videoconferencing sites across Louisiana, enabling delivery of clinical, educational and administrative content to patients and healthcare professionals at multiple state agencies and rural locations. | |||
